AYURVEDA : THE MAGIC OF LIVING WISELY

LEARN TO INTEGRATE AYURVEDA INTO DAILY LIFE..
According to the concepts of Ayurveda, good health is based on the equilibrium of dosha (humor), agni (digestive fire), dhatu (seven body tissues: lymph, blood, muscle, adipose tissue, bone, bone marrow, semen), and mala (feces, urine, and other waste products). Furthermore, in Ayurveda there is clear-cut emphasis on maintaining physical, mental, and spiritual well-being as part of good health.

Ayurveda is a way of life. It is a philosophy, a holistic system, a subtle, complex, all-embracing prescription for how to live your daily life. It is based on the theory that everything found in nature has medicinal value if used in the proper manner, that good digestion is the foundation of good health – hence the emphasis on eating the correct foods for one’s constitution, and that we all have the power to maintain good health through correct diet and exercise and a daily routine that includes yoga and breathing and time for quiet contemplation. Ayurveda advocates a proactive approach to physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Ayurveda is an anytime, anywhere, anyone sort of wisdom; a universal way of living wisely that can be easily adopted no matter what stage of life you’re at.
Ayurveda has many life-enhancing benefits. Because it is a holistic way of life, Ayurveda focuses on bringing balance to your physical, mental and spiritual health as you move through the seasons, the different stages of your life, and the changing times of day.
A key aspect of Ayurveda is decoding and then living in harmony with ones constitution/dosha. Dosha (physical/emotional blueprint) and everything in the Universe is made up of a combination of the five elemental forces of space, air, fire, water and earth. You may have heard of people being described as flighty, grounded or fiery for instance, which is instinctively describing their energetic/elemental blueprint. There are three main dosha and each is made from a combination of the elements; these being Vata (air/either), Pitta (fire/water) and Kapha (water/earth).
As humans, we need all there energies to produce, metabolise and maintain health. Psychologically, we need the creation of new ideas (vata), the ability to articulate them (pitta) and then the resolve to realise them (kapha). That said most of us will have a main, sub and opposing dosha and a greater understanding of where you fall, will help liberate us from general disease, which is the very aim of Ayurveda.
