LEARN YOGA MUDRAS EVERYDAY

LEARN YOGA MUDRAS EVERYDAY
Ganesha Mudra
Ganesh, as well as being the “remover of obstacles” is said to sometimes place obstacles in one's path so that he/she can gain strength by overcoming them. The Ganesha mudra, therefore, is considered energetically and physically strengthening for the heart.
It is said that for maximum benefits, Ganesha mudra should be practiced daily up to five or six times, while focusing on Ganesh and the symbolism of this mudra. It might be particularly useful when one is tired or troubled. It can be performed as part of a meditation or pranayama practice.
Ganesha mudra is also associated with the element of fire. As such, it is said to help stimulate the metabolism and digestion. It is linked to the anahata chakra and is considered a heart-opening practice. Some say that they experience strong feelings of warmth and brightness in the heart area when practicing this mudra.
This can be very good for those suffering from heartache, depression or feelings the courage to approach life with Physically, Ganesha mudra is also good for strengthening the muscles of the arms, chest and shoulders. It is said to release tension in these areas and even to open the bronchial tubes and lungs.
GARUDA MUDRA
The garuda mudra is used to balance the air or vata energy in the body, creates inspiration and energizes the yogi. The word garudam eans “eagle” in Sanskrit and mudra means, “gesture of.” By activating blood flow, the garuda mudra invigorates and balances the vata energy on both sides of the body.
Holding garuda mudra controls the air by bringing it in if you are stuck or by calming it down when you feel scattered. Once the vata is balanced, a yoU will be inspired and energized.

Yoga Practice
There are many layers to a yoga practice. The Kriyas
In this modern word today, we have created a nearly unthinkable number of distractions to “ease” the pain and suffering of our daily lives – overly indulgent food, drugs and alcohol, electronic distractions, media at our fingertips, instant gratification everywhere.
We tend to swing between great extremes – working day and night for long periods, and then a few days of utter nothingness; our complete absorption in our workaholic lifestyle leaves us unable to cope with the periods of stillness, unable to cope with being alone and unoccupied for even a minute.
So what are we to do? Practicing yoga asana & different Ayurveda Modalities regularly can help us feel more comfortable with stillness, and of course begin to help us quiet the mind.
In my personal experience, however, I have found that it’s all about maintaining moderation and balance, so those extremes begin to have less distance between each other. One way to do this is to practice mindfulness in your everyday life, and the kriyas can help you do just that.
The Kriyas are ancient techniques developed by the yogic sages which purify and cleanse both the physical and subtle anatomy.
Through an in-depth evaluation of your state of health, lifestyle practices, physical and emotional attributes, I will develops an understanding of your unique constitution and any root causes of imbalance or illnesses you may be experiencing.
Your constitution or Prakruti will be determined and a program will be developed to bring you back to your state of natural ease, balance and health. You will be supported to make the changes in your life that will bring lasting effects and enhance your healing process. Overall, your treatment path will be one intended to restore your full alignment to nature and in turn return you to your optimal state of living.
