Whenever you are in pregnancy journey, yoga can help.
Dhyana (Meditation) with OM Mantra.. I have developed Mantras which Can Help You Have a Healthy Baby.
When we recite mantras we create very specific energy vibrations in the body that can lead to inner transformation.
Meditating on OM takes you back to your most basic energy, you reconnect with the centre of your existence and the centre of your own creation.
Om is the primordial sound, the sound of which the world is created and the sounds which is behind every birth.
The more a woman meditates during pregnancy the higher her endorphin level will be during delivery. In addition, meditation raises the life-enhancing hormone DHEA that again enhances the immune system, improves mood, balances the brain chemistry, benefits the vision, hearing, muscles and bones and regulates blood pressure. Moreover, meditation increases the production of melatonin and helps baby grow calmer and happier. As a result, the heart rate is nicely regulated and the blood pressure becomes text book perfect. This is because mothers feel more connected to their babies and they align their mutual intentions to support and co-create the birth together. Mom’s and baby’s health and strength is optimized and the Zen aura of serenity and mutuality radiates positive vibes to everyone in the family.
A daily yoga and meditation practice during pregnancy is likely to improve birth weight, reduce premature births, and lessen overall medical complications for newborns. In fact, meditation is a safe way to ease out anxiety and restore the normal functioning of the immune system, while increasing pain tolerance by making stress hormones go down speedily.
Practicing Yoga During Pregnancy
Yoga in pregnancy is multi dimensional physical, mental, emotional and intellectual preparation to answer the challenges faced by a pregnant woman. The challenges of pregnancy are revealed by the state of happiness and stress while yoga is a skill to calm down the mind. Pregnancy in a woman is a condition in which woman changes both from inside as well as outside. These changes create obstacles or hurdles in the normal life of a pregnant woman and yoga in pregnancy can help the women to cruise through these changes and challenges.
Yoga in pregnancy can improve birth weight, decrease pre-term labour, decreased intra uterine growth retardation (IUGR) with least or no complications. Practicing yoga reduces the mental stress; manage pain and symptoms of depression. So, Yoga must be included in the pregnancy regime to attain the higher level of fitness for both mother and child.
Yoga soothes the mind, refocus the energy and prepare the woman physiologically and psychologically for labour.
Different breathing techniques impart invaluable neuro-muscular control and helps in coordinated relaxation and contraction of uterus. Different type of asanas (postures),are described in Ayurveda and Yoga which can be performed by a pregnant woman as they consume low energy and provide greater benefits.
Before beginning this sequence, practice nine rounds of the pranayama, nadi shodhana, followed by at least five minutes of meditation (more if you have time). This will ground you in your body and create greater internal balance.
Yoga Bandha are integral part of yogic practice, these are static postures which constrict certain part of body thereby redirecting the flow of blood to other parts of the body. Recommended Bandh for pregnancy is MulaBandh-The Root Lock- which is beneficial when practiced regularly before and after conceiving, it helps to prepare the muscles for easy delivery. It is also good for postpartum period.
Precautions should be taken while practicing yoga is also important. During second and third trimester time spent for practicing the asanas should be reduced to prevent fatigue and overwork. Focus more on breathing and meditation.
Do not over stretch the abdomen, avoid doing inversion and emphasize over twisting of shoulder and upper back.

My Experince During Pregnancy
My meditation practice has blessed my pregnancy with so much creativity and has taught me to tap the creative force of nature and honor the birthing process on Earth and across the Universe. After meditation I feel an increased vitality and energy flowing within. have intuitively integrated some powerful “mudra” and “mantra” in the meditation practice. The sacred hand positions have helped me conserve and spread energy throughout the nerve channels and brought so much harmony to my body, and revelations to my mind. The primordial vibrations reverberating from the beginning of creation have transmuted me into divine chalice. I feel whole, abundant and worthy of birthing a healthy and beautiful child. I feel ready of whispering the visions I saw during meditation to ear, of teaching my baby everything I know and learning from in return. I feel ready for this cosmic school of life during my pregnancy.
My meditation practice deepened even more while being pregnant and traveled higher realms, connected to the spirit that was dwelling within consciously and felt always guarded and guided into my right choices. I dedicated time and energy in transferring all the positive thoughts, love and appreciation to my baby and I gave and received wisdom and joy.
