POSTPARTUM ABHYANGA

POSTPARTUM ABHYANGA :
(AFTER PREGNANCY BODY TREATMENT)
An ancient healing system’s gifts to the Modern Woman.
How do we rebalance our sacred womb after birth?
Childbirth is a highly vata-provoking experience, but with a proper recovery period, a woman can easily rebalance and fully step into her new role. Ideally, rest and rejuvenation would be the focus for the firs t45 days after giving birth of baby.
This focus of this healing period is bringing vata dosha into balance, healing and rejuvenating the reproductive tissues (shukra dhatu), and promoting healthy breast and lactation channels. These ensure the mother's health is cared for and fosters easy bonding between mother and child.
According to Ayurveda, pregnancy and delivery can be the most rejuvenating experience of a women’s life, during which every cell of the mother’s body can be transformed. Unfortunately, in the Modern Life we did not get that knowledge and mothers often pay dearly with health concerns after a pregnancy.
Abhyanga is the third cornerstone to maternal care after delivery. Nothing calms vata and soothes the entire body like warm herbal oil. The oil tones the body, provides oleation helps the healing of tissues, and infuses strength and a sense of roundedness, complete relaxation and allowing yourself the gift of nourishment and love.
After birth, the mother’s hormones are usually erratic. Vata, which governs the nervous system and movement (movement of body fluids, neurotransmitters, hormones, blood and lymph circulation, elimination of wastes) in the body immensely increases. This is because all of a sudden after womb evacuation a vacuum of space has manifested (vata is predominately space).
Mum needs deep rejuvenation & strength to provide the baby with much required immunity, strength, pure and nutritious breast milk and of course, love.
To help mothers achieve optimal physical, metal and emotional health, we have formulated a post-natal care plan with called POSTPARTUM ABHYANGA that starts after birth
Postpartum Abhyanga supports hormonal balance, encourages healthy lactation, reduces pain, and helps new mothers with rest, relaxation, and sleep. It is a deeply nourishing oil body treatment that regulates the body's natural rhythms after the incredible transformation of birth. It effectively relaxes the muscles, improves the performance of the body and the nerves. Nervous disorders are prevented, the digestive system is improved and a more youthful appearance is the result. It gives strength and regenerates the body.
Promotes a healthy appearance with a vivid facial expression, the structure of the skin is improved and irritations of the skin are reduced.
Abhyanga is the most involved protocol we have learned and one we feel competent doing. Literally translated, the word means “all body parts” and it refers to the application of oil to every inch of the body. The patient is guided through seven different positions on the table so every part of the body can be reached. By applying medicated oil, allowing it to soak in for some time and then bathing the body, we quiet the mind and build a cocoon against stress and over-stimulation. Being embraced in a thin layer of oil soothes frayed nerves and brings the body back to earth from mental preoccupations. I dare say it’s the best medicine for an information-overloaded day of multi-tasking, and while doing it to yourself is truly wonderful, having it done to you is transporting.
Ayurveda isn’t a cure, but merely a balancing way-of-life that supports your body, and ultimately your soul, as you embark on the journey of life; and, if you are so destined, this journey may include the magical experience of pregnancy.

Ayurvedic Practices and Philosophy in Pregnancy
Every thought, action, and decision a pregnant mother makes is directly correlated to the health, vitality, and essentially, the life potential of the child. She must be mindful that every element, food article, aroma, sight, and sound entering or surrounding her body impacts the fetus, directing the dependent soul to a greater state or to a more weakened state of health. Holistic care relating to pregnancy becomes essential as soon as the mother and father even decide to embark on the journey of parenthood before conception even takes place.
herefore it is very clear that, Abhyanga is very essential process for the healthy growth and development of newborn baby.
Ayurvedic practices and principles applied to the pregnant mother and her pending child provide a sincere potential for an enriched pregnancy and birthing experience, contributing to greater mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health of the mother, child, and father. How can the modern, western-born mother implement the ancient teachings of Ayurveda as she embarks on the journey to bring a vital new life into this world? How the three pillars of life, herbal treatments, five sense therapies, and spiritual practices can be incorporated and utilized throughout the pregnancy experience.

BACK-SPINE AND NECK TREATMENT

The lower back bastis are therapies that cure muscle spasms, and lower spine rigidity.
Practical Enlightenment
As a complete medical science, Ayurveda acknowledges regular body work as part of a healthy lifestyle to reduce stress, ease aches + pains and support quality sleep.
It is our intention to uphold this time honored practice by offering the most traditional, effective, and sacred therapies Ayurveda has to share.
Back, Spine and Neck Treatment: Major 60-80% of Indians experience back pain. This method to treat back and spinal disorders is unique from any other method out there. This keeps getting restated at my hospital through the amazing results we get from patients who undergo this treatment. Medicated Herbal oil is “held” by a well (made of flour), localised over the targeted vertebrae. The oil is maintained at a comfortably hot temperature so the herbalised oil penetrates the layers of skin and deep tissues into muscle, fat (ligaments, tendons), bone, bone marrow and nerves. Stiff & tight muscles will instantly be lubricated and softened.
Back pain or ‘kati shoola’ as it is known in Ayurveda is a common condition where the one or more dosha becomes imbalanced, and of these, vata (air + space element) would be commonly responsible.
Back Bastis help with:
Lower and upper back and neck pain.. Slipped and herniated discs .. Sciatica ... Sports injuries .. Stiff neck .. Repairing nerve damage and healing ligaments ... Relieving sprain and muscular spasm .. Nourishing the vertebral discs and prevents spinal degeneration ...Frozen shoulder ...Migraines ... Back Bastis counter roughness, dryness, stiffness and tightness, allowing conduction of nerves to pass uninterruptedly and free from one neuron to another. . This treatment also activates kundalini (flow of life force energy) and balances the chakras. Treats chronic back pain, lumbar spondylitis, intervertebral disc prolapse, muscular sprain around the backbone, pain from osteoarthritis of the backbone.
Kati Basti: Lower Back Rejuvenation Therapy
This is a most popular herbal oil treatment for relieving stiffness and nourishing your lower back. The lower back is one of the primary sites of vata. A flour dough dam is made, filled with the appropriate herbal oil and placed on your lower back. By soaking the area in heated oil for about 45 minutes, pain, soreness and tension are relieved. By placing several doughs, this treatment can also be applied to your whole spine.
Kati Basti can be taken as a preventive treatment also. It helps avoid problems related to back and keeps your spine healthy. As medicated oil gets deeply absorbed into the skin it both nourishes and strengthens the muscles and nerves. This is the one of the best treatment for healthy bone, muscle, vertebrae, spine, and nerves of lower back.
Benefits of Kati Basti:
Alleviates numbness due to Sciatic nerve compression & most types of low-back pain.
Strengthens back muscles which maintain normal curvature of the spine the bone tissues.
Effective treatment for any type of back pain & spinal disorders, stiffness and other back concerns related to spinal disc problems.
Increases the circulation in the region & highly effective in inflammatory conditions.
Kati Basti alleviates pain associated with lower back conditions like Lumber Spondylosis, Inter vertebral disc prolapses, Lumbago (low back ache), and Sciatica.
We offers a wide range of Bastis for conditions that affect different parts of the body. Thee herbalised oils used in the Bastis help balance the area they are applied to. The oils also penetrate through the skin and draw out toxins that have accumulated in that area.
Ayurveda helps support the body’s natural functioning and healing. They build strength from within so that your body can heal itself.

SHIRODHARA FOR WOMEN'S REPRODUCTIVE CYCLE

Shirodhara For Women’s Reproductive Cycle
An Ayurvedic Approach to a Healthy Cycle
Manage Doshic Differences in Menstruation With Shirodhara.
There are different stages throughout the month that relate to a woman’s natural shift in hormones, known as rutukala, rutavateta kala, and rajahkala
The way in which each woman may experience the menstrual cycle is dependent upon the doshic constitution she is overtly displaying at the time.
Balancing
Vata Menstrual Flow
Pitta Menstrual Flow
Kapha Menstrual Flow
The menstrual cycle is effectively a monthly cleanse and is treated as such in the Ayurvedic tradition. Our goal, then, is to support the process of cleansing. As with any other cleanse, importance is placed on rest and rejuvenation and kindling agni. For this reason, for centuries, women in India have been given the opportunity to be relieved from their daily duties and go in seclusion so that their body may fully cleanse both on the physical and mental level. The menstrual cycle is a gift that is unique to the female gender.
So many women suffer from menstrual imbalances, leaning on a limited number of tools. And given that it is such a huge part of our life, coming monthly, it can be frustrating, burdensome, and even debilitating. Not only does Ayurveda provide alternative solutions that really work at the root level, but it also gives the opportunity to reshift our chemistry before more difficult conditions arise by being able to use our menstrual cycle as barometer of what lies within us. Ayurveda also blesses us with the outlook that this is ultimately a cleanse. And by viewing it as such, we can work with our body towards greater health, instead of running against its natural work.
We hope that we have equipped you with a few more tools like Shirodhara to help you on your way towards balance and health. The female body is truly unique and beautiful. Use it towards great health as a roadmap, paying attention to all of the signs and subtlest shifts. You will learn more about yourself that goes beyond just the physical. Shirodhara is highly effective in normalizing sleep cycles, reducing stress, infertility and is unique in its ability to calm the nerves while at the same time awakening the senses. The stream of specific herbal oils on the "third eye" stimulate the hypothalamus, pituitary and especially and pineal gland to create the proper communication need better these glands to secrete adequate amounts of hormones including FSH.
Menstruation not only cleanses and reset’s a woman’s reproductive tract, but provides insight to her overall health, and should be honored. By staying in sync, we are able to fine tune any imbalances to allow for a smoother flow. Following and understanding an importance in overall diet, stress level and relaxation will ultimately result in a greater menstruation experience.
Shirodhara also helps for PCOD in women.

The menstrual cycle is effectively a monthly cleanse and is treated as such in the Ayurvedic tradition. Our goal is to support the process of cleansing. As with any other cleanse, importance is placed on rest and rejuvenation and kindling agni.
Body therapies
Ayurvedic body therapies such as Shirodhara, Abhyanga, marma therapy, Nasya, Basti, chakra balancing, Pinda help in releasing tension, impurities and trapped energy within the body. They nourish the body, revitalize the mind and strengthen the immune system. Rejuvenation therapies are beneficial in reducing stress, nourishing all dhatus of the body and pacifying Vata. Panchakarma is usually prescribed for infertile couples. Rejuvenative therapies are basically recommended for Vata Dosha, and cooling light therapies for pitta Dosha. Shodhana chikitsa helps in uterine hostility, and non-ovulatory cycles. To remove local disorders, to remove obstructions in passage and to facilitate proper coitus, and to increase receptivity of the genital tract to the entry of the sperm, Basti is recommended.
A sedentary lifestyle results in believed to stagnant lymph flow. If the body is too active, the body may not be able to carry away all the waste that is produced. Therefore, the deep tissue body treatment work to stimulate the flow of lymph. This bodily fluid carries wastes and impurities away from tissues and needs muscle contractions to move efficiently throughout the body. The body treatment can help in increasing the chances of conception by clearing blocked fallopian tubes.

But, there really are a number of rituals that everyone should follow in order to establish and maintain balance. Some of them can be adapted depending on your constitution, the time of year etc. These rituals allow us to care for the five senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch and to stay in alignment with the rhythms of nature. After all, if nature is any indication, we really are meant to be creatures of habit.
Emotional disturbances, with an increased tendency toward fear, anxiety, anger, confusion, lethargy, or depression.
Low energy, weakness, or fatigue
Suppressed or over-active appetite
Indigestion: gas, bloating, constipation, nausea, hyperacidity, loose stools, a sense of heaviness, feeling tired or mentally foggy after meals.
A tendency toward congestion in the sinuses, the lymph, or even the mind.

Dincharya : This is an important component of the health care measures. All the activities of the universe run according to certain preset programs. We hardly can find a lapse in these programs and the coordinated activities. Ayurvedic Dinacharya is meant to act according to cosmic rhythm and in coordination with other beings. The act against these rules is cause of diseases. Diet is very important aspect of Dinacharya and is a special concept of Ayurveda. Body has its biological clock. Body is not ready to perform any activity at any time. Ayurveda has categorized the function and classified them according to biological clock.
For example morning time is period of Kapha, if we eat heavy food in breakfast, our stomach is not prepared to digest it properly and there are possibilities of production of some harmful products. Midday is period of Pitta, and body is prepared to digest any kind of food properly. In the evening again there is period of Kapha and Srotas act sluggishly in the night, our supper should be light.
Usually people ignore this knowingly and unknowingly. If a person with Vata- Kapha dominance consumes food with Vata – Kapha properties, he will be prone to have diseases of Vata Kapha origin, for example, Asthma. Ayurveda recommends avoiding certain unwholesome combinations of food articles.
Combining milk with sour and salty thing; with onion, garlic, fish, radish and bananas causes vitiation in Rakta Dhatu and may produce skin diseases.
In our high-tech and fast-paced Western Life Style we are disconnection from the natural rhythms of life which has been linked to a variety of health problems, of which poor cognitive functioning, a decrease in performance and efficiency, mal digestion, sleeping disorders, depression, diabetes, excessive weight gain, heart diseases and even certain types of cancer.
Are you interested in the ancient knowledge of Ayurveda? Then this is the perfect opportunity to deepen your understanding.
Do you have a favourite time of the day? When do you feel most vibrant and alive?
In Ayurveda there is a clock for energy. There is an optimal time of day for different activities. When we look at the world through the lens of Ayurveda everything is made up of the elements earth, water, fire, air and ether.
The 5 elements are condensed into 3 Doshas Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
Vata = Ether + Air
Pitta = Fire + Water
Kapha = Earth + Water
At different times of the day, these different elements are present which creates certain energies.
They are:
Vata – the subtle wind energy is active between 2-6am/pm
Kapha – nourishing water energy is active from 6-10am/pm
Pitta – transforming fire energy is active from 10-2am/pm
Keep on Keepin On - Learn How to Stay Motivated and Consistent with Healthy Habits of Ancient Way of Ayurveda Practices.
“The time early in the morning, one and a half hours before sunrise, is called brahma-muhurta. During this time, spiritual activities are recommended. Spiritual activities performed early in the morning have a greater effect than in any other part of the day.
Bhagavata Purana, 3.20.46
If you wake at Brahma muhurta (the time of brahma), a healthy body will instinctually have a bowel movement. This is due to the activation of prana, the inward movement of energy caused by opening the eyes.

AYURVEDIC SUMMER DETOX CLEANSE

As we prepare for the coming summer months, It has started now..The temperature is rising outside... If signs of pitta imbalance are starting to appear, or you notice that toxic residues may be building up from poor digestion, it may be time to do a summertime cleanse. Ayurvedic theory focuses on transitioning from the summer fiery pitta months and the accumulation of heat in our bodies. Vata, the dosha governed by air, leads us into Fall, just as the leaves dry up and the wind helps them to descend from the trees.
With the accumulation of pitta from the summer months it’s important to not overload the body and thus to detox. This accumulation of toxins, or ama, can create a physical and psychological sludge that is the basis of almost all disease.
In the summer, it is especially important to give the digestive system a boost, because the digestive fire is naturally low during this season.
Balancing Pitta
You may be experiencing some of the following signs or symptoms: red, inflamed rash, acne, cold sores; acute inflammation in body or joints; acid reflux, gastric or peptic ulcers, heartburn; nausea or discomfort upon missing meals; loose stools; uncomfortable feeling of heat in the body; frustration, anger, irritability. To decrease pitta, Ayurveda has given us dietary, lifestyle and herbal treatment strategies.
Ayurveda recommends a cleanse to accompany a change in season, to clear and open physiological and psychological channels in the body and mind. Summer is an especially important time of the year, when nature re-awakes from the long, heavy winter and provides us with all the dietary and herbal tools we need to rid our bodies of excess fats and heavy proteins which keep environmental and emotional toxins bound in bodily tissues. A Summer cleanse helps the body to identify stored fat tissue as useable energy, retraining and firing up digestive capacity within the GI tract, bodily tissues, and the mind. Accumulated and stored toxins are brought to the surface of tissues and gently escorted out through elimination channels.
Accumulated and stored toxins are brought to the surface of tissues and gently escorted out through elimination channels. The result of the Summer Cleanse are empowered digestive and immune systems as well as a purified mind to transition gracefully and energetically from the heavy, dulled winter into the light, auspicious Summer time.

Our senses are connected with the five universal elements or the Mahabhutas that are the core of our cosmos. Our sense of hearing is directly connected to the air and ether elements, so the ear is where the Vata essentially settles.
Karna purana, or ear therapy, is also recommended for those with hearing or ear problems. In this treatment, your neck and head are treated with oil, followed by a warm ear steaming. Your ears are then massaged and covered with a hot towel. Herbalized oil is poured into your ears until your ear cavity is full of oil, and you sit up to allow the oil to completely enter your ear crevice. This treatment is especially recommended for those who spend a lot of time on their phones or in loud areas.
The ears are the sense organ associated with Vata. Sound belongs to the domain of Vata dosha - comprised of the elements ether and air - the field within which sound can exist and ‘travel'. Our skin is a hotbed for beneficial microbes, and the orifices like the nose, armpits, groins and ears are areas of high microbial concentration. We know there are small bones in the inner ear called ossicles, which vibrate when hit by sound waves. These bones stimulate nerve endings that transmit signals to the brain to be interpreted. From the Ayurvedic perspective, the ear skin and the ossicles can dry out and function can be compromised. This is part of a vata imbalance in Ayurveda. Vata is a governing principle in nature akin to air, which, when aggravated, can dry the body out.

Panchakarma to manage diabetes:
Ayurvedic Panchakarma, a detoxification process, and an excellent therapeutic process, works wonders with patients diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
Type 1 diabetes is an auto-immune disease that makes the pancreas to cease insulin production. Insulin is a hormone that helps the body to store and use glucose for energy. As a result, sugar builds up in the blood, and with this comes the risk of ketoacidosis, which proves fatal. Diabetics also leads to many other complications like blindness, kidney disease, nerve damage, etc.
Imbalance of kapha
According to experts, ayurveda is a good idea for treating diabetic patients, as it is a holistically sounded treatment. It not only heals, but also changes habits, and transforms a person altogether.
Panchakarma — Ayurvedic Cleansing for Conception.
The seed, or bija, of fertility refers to the egg and sperm. According to Ayurveda, this reproductive tissue is the very last tissue in our bodies to be created. It is the most refined, most complete tissue after we digest and process all the food, thoughts, and emotions that we ingest. As such, its perfection requires the best of the best—the best food, the best thoughts, the best environment. This is especially true for men, since fully mature sperm are produced, on average, every two months. For women, maintaining a healthy environment protects the quality of the eggs that they were born with.
As you enhance the health of each of these factors, your fertility will begin to blossom.
Before any growth or progress, a cleansing of the things that do not serve you well must occur. This is an opportunity to start new, on a blank slate, so that you can offer your highest self to the passage of pregnancy and to parenthood. Anger, grief, toxins, emotional heaviness, and more all have a profound impact on your pregnancy. In fertility cleansing, there is a specific effort to remove toxins and excess doshas from the field, the nutrients and fluid, and the seed, which are deeper tissue layers and therefore require deeper cleansing.
The birth of a healthy child is seen as equivalent to planting a tree, for which we need a seed, soil, time and the right nourishment.
Benefits of Panchakarma :
From insomnia to jet lag, almost every problem can be treated by the Panchakarma rejuvenation treatment. There are numerous benefits of this beautiful detoxifying technique:
Reducing skin problems
The skin is the fourth most important exit ramp for impurities to be excreted out of the body following the liver, kidneys and colon. If the skin gets dry and toxic from the environment and the lymph becomes congested, the skin will be rendered non-functional. These impurities slotted for lymph and skin removal will be shunted into the muscles, joints and fat cells, creating problems there, and further age the texture of the skin.
If your lymphatic system is chronically congested, you may notice some of the following symptoms: wrinkles, dry skin, new skin tags or moles, eczema, rashes, itching skin, and edema or holding more fluids, sometimes noticed as rings feeling tight on your fingers. Additionally, allergies, low thyroid, compromised immunity, headaches, sore throats, fatigue, sore feet in the morning or muscle or joint pain than can move around the body are all common indicators of a sluggish lymphatic system.
Benefits..... Detoxify the deep tissues of the skin, trigger a balanced lymphatic flow, and restore the life, vigor and function of the skin. This therapy, which also treats the hands, feet, upper back and neck is designed to restore optimal function to the lymph and skin, remove stress, while bringing a deep sense of relaxation and calm to the whole body.
If you are looking to gain a clear and glowing complexion, this is the technique to adapt. Excessive toxins in the body can cause rashes, pimples, and spots. Bad eating habits too can take a toll on our skin. As Panchakarma takes care of underlying issues, it helps you get a shining, flawless skin. It also helps promote new hair growth and prevents premature graying.
Panchakarma is globally known for its ability to cure or manage almost any ailment, from eczema to diabetes to heart disease. It’s one of the most purifying things you can do for yourself and causes you to become so much more aware of the toxins you are holding onto, physically as well as emotionally.
Ayurveda, the Science of Longevity – Panchakarma for Cellular Rejuvenation
From the time of birth until death, the body is engaged in maintaining life. That is its sole purpose and mission, and each cell has the intelligence to do so. Yet in the modern, fast paced world, the levels of stress and environmental imbalance make it harder for your body to stay healthy and your mind to remain calm and positive, which in the long run affects you on a cellular level as well, as all this creates and accumulates toxins in your body. From an Ayurvedic point of view, the doshas (vata, pitta and kapha) play an important role in the maintenance of cellular health and longevity: Kapha maintains longevity on the cellular level; Pitta governs digestion and nutrition; and Vata, which is closely related to the life energy (or prana), governs all life functions. Ayurveda offers different therapies that may support your individual constitutional harmony while promoting cellular rejuvenation and overall vitality and immunity.
Our health is influenced moment to moment by the choices that we make: the food and drinks that we place in our bodies, our sleep habits, our daily routines, our movement patterns and the thoughts and emotions that we entertain. We can all think of certain people who seem to be able to eat whatever they want, live from one coffee to the next, get little sleep and never exercise and still seem immune to the effects of these behaviors. Most of us, however, do not fit into this category...but why not do what we can to improve our lives? Ayurvedic principles help us to cultivate self–awareness so that we can participate more consciously in who we are and in who we are becoming day–to–day. Ayurveda is an intelligent solution to the healthcare problems we face now a days with our modern way of living. As more and more of us learn how to balance ourselves through diet, lifestyle, proper stress management and spiritual healing we can make the world a more healthy, loving, compassionate and peaceful place in which to live.

AYURVEDA IN DAILY LIFE

IMPORTANAC OF AYURVEDA IN DAY TO DAY LIFE OF LIVING
Ayurveda in Daily Life — Healthy Living
All-Day Ayurveda: Give Your Life a Makeover
No time for yourself? No problem. India's holistic ancient system of medicine offers quick morning and evening self-care rituals to help you balance your energy and boost your health.
Ayurveda, the “mother of all healing therapies“, has been practiced for over thousand years and is considered to be the basis for all natural medicine. Ayurveda provides the essential knowledge needed to live a long, healthy and happy life.
Ayurvedic philosophy is based on a holistic way of thinking. The universe is reflected in the microcosm of „humans“. Body, mind and spirit are seen as one unit. The body is considered to be the „temple of the soul“, and its wellbeing is essential for mental growth and self-development.
In Ayurveda, all treatments and recommendations for increasing vitality, life satisfaction and immunity against disease depend on each person’s individual constitution. The five natural elements are present in different proportions in each individual, depending upon their constitution.
Ayurveda defines three organic energies: Vata, Pitta and Kapha (the so-called Doshas). Each dosha is in turn composed of the five natural elements: Vata (ether and air) is the principle of movement, Pitta (fire and water) is the thermal principle and Kapha (earth and water) is the principle of stability.
Ayurvedic treatments are always tailored to a person’s individual dosha: We use specially selected oils and provide personal recommendations based on your individual constitution.
Ayurveda gives us the guidelines for how to live our lives in a state of peace and happiness, how to create joy in our personal and social lives and how to create balance, within and without.
A daily morning routine is necessary to start bringing your body back to balance. If you look at nature, there are cycles in everything, day to night, moon cycles, seasonal cycles, menstrual cycle, etc.
All animals and plants follow natural cycles day by day and from one season to the next. We are no different; we are part of it all, and when living in harmony with nature, we experience balance and health.
In today’s lifestyle, the body is continuously being worn out, and this brings the doshas out of balance resulting in all sorts of mental and physical conditions detrimental to a harmonious life. There are simple guidelines to prevent this from happening, such as eating the right foods for your unique constitution, truthful conduct and daily and seasonal practices to mention some.
Let's focus today on morning daily routine. You don’t need to implement all procedures at once, do what you can until the entire routine is fully established. Remember that in every step you take, a transformation is happening.
Ayurveda is a deep understanding of the relationship between health, the environment, and the mind. In Ayurveda, every individual is unique and there is no recommendation, diet or lifestyle routine that works for everyone in the same way.
The five elements are the cause of our physical body, the building blocks of our constitution and when they combined, it gives place to unique forces called Doshas. Dosha literally means ‘fault’ or ‘mistake,’ but the doshas are not at fault on their own. They become a problem only when accumulate, overflow and migrate from their original reservoir to other parts of the body carrying with them toxicity.
Ayurveda is based on the principles of the three doshas. These energies make up every individual and perform different physiological functions in the body.
