PANCHAKARMA THERAPY AT THE SEASONAL CHANGES

PANCHAKARMA THERAPY AT THE SEASONAL CHANGES
Ayurveda advises undergoing Panchakarma at the seasonal changes to clean the body, improve the digestion and metabolism.
Panchakarma presents a unique approach of Ayurveda with specially designed five procedures of internal purification of the body through the nearest possible route.
In today's modern world when more and more people are falling victim to the adverse effects of stress and anxiety, which is leading to diseases like improper digestion, lack of sleep, allergies, heart diseases, diabetes, chronic fatigue, cancer, osteoporosis and so many chronic diseases. These diseases are caused mainly due to deeply seated toxins. Panchakarma Therapy eliminates these toxins from the body, allowing healing permanently of tissues, channels, digestion and mental functions.
The unique feature of the Panchakarma therapy is to destroy the disease from the root, which was beautifully quoted by Charaka as follows- if the plant is destroyed except root, then again it grows, in the some way if Doshas are not destroyed from the root, they again cause diseases. Shodhana therapy acts on the root sites of Dosha and remove them from the body. This is why Panchakarma is called a radical treatment.

Based on the health of the individual and stage and type of the disease, only one of the five procedures may be done without following a sequence.
Panchakarma is indicated in arthritis, paralysis, neuromuscular diseases and in respiratory, gastrointestinal, ENT, and several blood-related disorders with great benefits.
The beneficial contribution of Panchakrma Therapy is that it removes the toxic materials from the body and provides purification of the body at two levels: (1) the gross level, where various organs and systems of the body are thoroughly cleansed (e.g., cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract, chest, etc.) and (2) the cellular level, where purification and cleansing of the body is produced at the level of cells, cell membranes, and molecules.
Purification therapy is intended for cleansing the body, by which the accumulated morbid humors responsible for disease are expelled out so that an ideal environment for proper functioning of body is produced.
Panchakarma Therapy not only is a prerequisite for all the therapeutic procedures and medications but also has a full therapeutic role in promoting preventive, curative, and rehabilitative procedures...removes waste products, unwanted materials, various toxins, and stagnant doshas.
Panchakarma is not only good for alleviating disease but is also a useful tool in maintaining excellent health. Ayurveda advises undergoing PanchaKarma at the seasonal changes in order to clean the body and improve the digestion and metabolic processes.

SHIRODHARA IN MANAGEMENT OF STRESS

SHIRODHARA IN MANAGEMENT OF STRESS
Stress & Mental Illness:
Charaka Samhita, describes eight essential psychological factors that are negatively affected in various ways in all psychiatric disorders. The psychopathological condition is a function of these factors, which are manas (mind), buddhi, smriti (memory), sajna jnana (orientation and responsiveness), bhakti (devotion), shila (habits), cheshta (psychomotor activity) and achara (conduct).
Ayurveda is very effective for stress management and to encourage body and soul to achieve composure of the mind.
Shirodhara is one of the special types of treatment procedure. it is the process in which medicated oil is poured in a continuous stream on the fore head ,for the particular fixed time. It is effective procedure indicated in psychic disorders. Stimulates the 3rd eye and crown chakras, and awakens intuition and inner wisdom, Relieves stress, anxiety, depression, and insomnia through natural serotonin, dopamine, and melatonin release. Helps mental focus and concentration. Deeply relaxes mind and body. Improves sleep patterns, Pacifies vata reducing anxiety, restlessness, irritability, nervousness, fear & excessive thinking, improves mental focus and concentration.
Medicated oil poured on fore head may be absorbed, producing tranquilizing effect by reaching the brain cortex.
Shirodhara Effect on Marmas:
Shirodhara stimulates these mamas ( Sthapani Marma/Shankha Marma/Utkshepa Marma/Adhipati Marma)
and improves circulation , as oil used for shirodhara which causes vasodilatation of all the channels and thereby improving their circulation which in turn improves blood circulation of the brain. This improves the higher intellectual functions also. So an improvement in psychic symptoms is achieved. Improvement in circulation to hypothalamus also improves the function of Autonomic Nervous System as its stimulation during stress causes many physiological disturbances.
Stimulation of Marmas may have beneficial effect on the body, due to their connection with higher centers.
Shirodhara stimulates Agnya Chakra by improving the functions of mind which is vitiated in stress as it is the place of subtle mind. Structures like Pituitary gland & sub cortical structures of mid brain are related with mental functions like anger, grief, fear, memory and other higher intellectual functions. Shirodhara acts at this level correcting their functions.

AYURVEDA MARMA THERAPY

AYURVEDA MARMA THERAPY
(WOMEN ONLY)
i have developed Ayurveda Mama Therapy along with Panchakarma Treatment according to Ayurveda..
Marmas are centers for the vital-force or Prana. Marmas serve like pranic switches that can be used to turn Prana up or down, on or off at various places on the body.
The use of pressure points during Ayurveda Body Treatment has become a popular therapy in natural healing today. In Ayurveda, these pressure points are called mamas, meaning 'vulnerable' or sensitive' zones. Such points can be used specifically for the diagnosis and treatment of disease or generally for promoting health and longevity. Marmas are integral to all Ayurvedic therapies from simple self-treatments to complex clinical procedures.
They form one of the main pillars of Ayurvedic thought and
practice. The body has its own special sacred points just as the Earth has its sacred sites and energy currents according to sacred geography.
Marmas adds a new dimension of insight to both systems, helping us tap into the currents of vitality and creativity within and around us.
The science of karma or Marma Vidya is another extraordinary and dynamic Ayurvedic therapy that has tremendous value in health, disease, everyday living and in spiritual practice. Marma therapy is an important method of Ayurvedic treatment for the entire spectrum of health complaints major and minor.
Marmas range in size from very small to very large, from special points along the hands and feet to significant regions on the trunk of the body like the heart or the navel.
Through the right use of marmas our entire physical and mental energy can be consciously increased, decreased or redirected in a transformative manner.
The condition of marmas is an important diagnostic tool in Ayurveda. At marma sites toxins, stress and negative emotions get lodged and are held, sometimes for years.
Disease is reflected in pain, blockage or swelling in these areas even before it may manifest outwardly in the full range of disease symptoms. Ayurveda palpate marmas as an integral part of patient examination and gain much information from them. Relieving pain, blockage or swelling at marma sites is an important therapeutic aid and one of the first stages of many Ayurveda treatments.
Ayurveda treats marmas with pressure, heat, herbal oils, herbs or aromatic oils, providing many tools for working with your internal energies through them.
Marma therapy can be used along with all Ayurveda therapies from detoxification to tonification and rejuvenation, from self-care to intricate clinical procedures like Panchakarma.
Marmas as energy zones on the body, we could say that, on the highest level, marmas are places in the body where Purusha and Prakriti interface, where consciousness and Prana (Purusha) are reflected in our psycho-physical structure and dynamic (Prakriti). Marmas help us harmonize our Prakriti (our practical manifestation) and our Purusha (our quest for Self-realization).
Doha And Marma Therapy
Marmas can be used to balance our Prana or vital energy and increase sattva.
Marma therapy is an important way of working on Prana, which governs our entire functioning. Prana in turn is connected to Vata dosha or the biological air..humor, which therefore is the most important of the humors in the development and treatment of disease. This makes marmas particularly important in dealing with Vata, which relates to deep-seated, chronic and degenerative diseases.
Vata is divided into five types or subdoshas...Prana, Udana, Vyana, Samana and Apana. Marmas are most connected to Vyana Vayu, which governs the skin, circulation and the movement of Prana or vital energy. Therapeutic touch occurs mainly through Vyana, which distributes Prana throughout the body and can direct Prana as a healing force outside the body as well. Vyana also distributes the effects of herbs and oils through marmas to the rest of the body.
Pitta dosha is divided into five types or subdoshas......Pachaka, Ranjana, Bhrajaka, Alochaka and Sadhaka—which govern specific forms of digestion.
Marma therapy can increase or decrease heat in the body, directly impacting Pitta dosha. Marmas have a special connection to Bhrajaka Pitta which governs the skin and joints where most marmas are located. This means that Bhrajaka Pitta is usually the most important form of Pitta relative to marma therapy. The application of therapeutic touch, heat or the use of aromatic oils directly affects Bhrajaka Pitta and through it the other forms of Pitta.
Pitta's main site in the body is the small intestine, where it accumulates in the form of acid and heat. From there it gets transported by the circulatory system to weak sites in the body and causes various Pitta diseases like ulcers, infections and inflammation of different types, particularly blood disorders.
Kapha's subtypes or subdoshas are called—Tarpaka, Sleshaka, Avalambaka, Kledaka and Bodhaka—which govern specific forms of lubrication. Marma therapy can be used to promote the circulation of Prana and break up accumulations of Kapha, which is increased by stagnation and lack of movement. As marmas are commonly connected to joints, they have a special association with Sleshaka Kapha.
Kapha's main site in the body is the stomach, where it accumulates in the form of mucus or phlegm. From there it gets transported by the circulatory system to weak sites in the body and causes various Kapha diseases like asthma, diabetes, edema, heart disease and obesity.
Abhyanga as a Marma Therapy
Abhyanga —Using various forms of pressure and movement with the hands or other parts of the body like the feet and elbows. This is aided by applying special Ayurvedic medicated herbal oils, so it includes not only massage but also oil therapy. Some forms of Ayurvedic Body Treatment may also use dry powders, so many techniques fall under it.
Ayurvedic Oil Therapy is part of oleation (Snehana) therapy. Oleation is part of detoxification or reduction therapy (Shodhana) used for loosening toxins in the bones, joints, muscles and skin. The use of hot herbal oils is part of sweating or sudation (Swedana) therapy, which is also part of this same type of therapy. It aims at drawing toxins out through the blood and skin. In Ayurveda, oleation and sweating therapies (Snehana and Swedana) are used together to help draw the doshas out of the deeper tissues and bring them through the circulatory system and into the digestive tract for their elimination from the body by other therapeutic methods
This means that oil therapy on marma points can be viewed as a special or localized Snehana-Swedana therapy.
Shirodhara As Mrma Therapy
Shirodhara stimulates these mamas ( Sthapani Marma/Shankha Marma/Utkshepa Marma/Adhipati Marma)
and improves circulation , as oil used for shirodhara which causes vasodilatation of all the channels and thereby improving their circulation which in turn improves blood circulation of the brain. This improves the higher intellectual functions also. So an improvement in psychic symptoms is achieved. Improvement in circulation to hypothalamus also improves the function of Autonomic Nervous System as its stimulation during stress causes many physiological disturbances.

There are two more channels in women: The menstrual system or Artavavaha Srotas and lactation system or
Stanyavaha Srotas. These are a subset of the reproductive system (Shukravaha Srotas). Marmas function as trigger points for regulating the movement of energy through these channels. They are closely connected to the anatomical structures, organs and orifices through which these channels flow.
In fact, every point on the body is potentially a marma point because the entire skin or surface of the body is itself a marma or sensitive region. One could say that the skin itself is the 108th marma, linking all the other marmas together.

AYURVEDA FOR MODERN WOMEN

AYURVEDA FOR MODERN WOMEN
KEEP IN BALANCE FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM WITH AYURVEDA
Ayurveda, the ultimate medicine of empowerment can equip the modern woman with its time tested wisdom and help her achieve optimal health of body, mind and spirit.
Ayurveda as it pertains to correcting the imbalances that arise during the women’s menstrual cycle – specifically PMS and other related menstrual disorders - menorraghia, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea and the transition to menopause.
As people embark on the journey of healing through Ayurveda, they realize that good health is related almost directly and proportionally to proper lifestyle and state of mind. The path to perfect health parallels the path to enlightenment.
Menstruation is regarded in Ayurveda as a time of purification – a time for the woman’s body and mind to purify and rejuvenate each month-The menstrual cycle is Nature’s gift to women...
BALANCE YOUR DOSHA TO KEEP BALANCE FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM
Women are losing touch with their innate primordial inner rhythms, which control not only the menstrual cycles, but also the physical, mental, emotional and intuitive well-being.
All three doshas have a strong influence on the menstrual cycle. During the follicular (also known as proliferative) phase (end of menses until ovulation or the first half of the cycle) Kapha is on the rise. The hormone Estrogen (Kapha-like in many ways), peaks during this stage of the cycle. During the next phase of the cycle – the luteal or secretory phase (ovulation till flow begins), progesterone, a more Pitta type hormone takes center stage. So during the second half of the cycle, Pitta dominates in the woman’s body. The time of the actual flow or menses is the time of Vata – specifically Apana Vayu, as it transports the menstrual blood out of the body.
PMS from an Ayurvedic point of view, is viewed primarily as a Vata and Pitta imbalance. Since Low ojas is a contributing factor in PMS, rasayana therapy should be implemented. In case of ama being present, a period of purification should precede rejuvenation..
However menstrual cycles get disrupted due to a variety of reasons – birth control pills, different medications, poor diet & nutrition, low body fat, excessive weight loss, or being overweight. Stress, exhaustion, or very hard exercise and inactivity also can change or disrupt the menstrual cycle.
Excessive caffeine and alcohol (interferes with the metabolism of estrogen and progesterone in the liver) consumption, smoking can also disrupt the menstrual cycle. Disorders such as polycystic ovarian syndrome and uterine fibroids, cysts, polyps and endometriosis can also cause imbalances. And last but not least increased stress can cause disruptions in the menstrual cycle.
Ayurvedic practices to re-balance the woman’s menstrual cycle:
Uttar Basti : Tae Care of Your Womb : Bring Back Female Cycle in Rhythm.

PANCHAKARAMA : PREVENTIVE-PRESERVATIVE-PROMOTIVE-CURATIVE-REHABILITATIVE THERAPY

PANCHAKARAMA : PREVENTIVE-PRESERVATIVE-PROMOTIVE-CURATIVE-REHABILITATIVE THERAPY.
Panchakarma is the most essential part of Ayurveda treatments. It is preventive, preservative, promotive, curative and rehabilitative therapy.
Pancha Karma is the process of removing ama and excess doshas from the body and mind and then rebuilding the internal strength and ojas, immunity.
Ayurveda believes in the strong relationship between macrocosm and microcosm and states that the seasonal changes will influence the biological systems resulting into the accumulation and aggravation of particular Dosha in a particular season like accumulation and aggravation of Kapha in winter season) and spring season respectively, accumulation and aggravation of Pitta in rainy season) and autumn season respectively. Ayurveda emphasized to practice these therapies to eliminate the vitiated Dosha in accordance to the seasonal variation for preservation and promotion of health and prevention of disease.
Panchakarma follows the natural wisdom and function of the body. These purification therapies are not meant to be in conflict with the natural movement of the doshas and srotas. On the contrary, the Panchakarma system - when done - uses all natural functions to radically clean the body.
Pancha karma is a system to remove (purify) the Srotamsi (channel system).
The Srotamsi become congested or blocked when malas increase; when dhatu malas increase; when doshas increase; and when ama mixes with either mala or dosha.
Pancha Karma literally means the five actions. Vamana (Therapeutic vomiting), Virechana (Purgation), Basti (Enema), Nasya ( Nasal Purgation), Rakta Mokshana (Bloodletting).
Ayurveda Therapies Administrated At My Hospital.
(For Women Only)
Nasya (Tonic Treatment for The Head ) : It is used when there is severe derangements of five senses and Prana Vayu. This can be used when there is any chronic problems related to the ears, mouth, eyes, nose or throat....The nose is the doorway to the brain, mind and consciousness...When an excess of bodily fluids accumulates in the sinus, throat, nose or head areas, it is best eliminated through the nose...It opens and clears breathing channels and is a great relief for allergies, sinusitis, migraine headache and frequent colds.
Nasya helps restore the organic equilibrium of the mind and body and hormonal secretions that hormonal secretions that are ruled by Prana. Nasya is important treatments of Vata conditions in the nervous system and mind.
Nasya lasted for 3-7 days. You will experienced immense clarity and a heightened sense of intuition, and you could breathe deeply and fully with ease.
In Pancha Karma Nasya is also called Shirovirechana - shiro (head) - virechana (purgation).
Pishinchhali
This is a form of body treatment that uses rice bolus to apply large amounts of oil to the body. Its main function is to pacify the five sub vayus through reconnecting them and stimulating the marma points. To be effective it should be done nos of time.
Pindasvedana (Navare Kizi - bolus heat application) :
Pinda Svedana or Navare Kizi is a form of local svedana that uses rice bolus to apply heat to the body. The rice bolus is cooked in milk decoctions with special Dosha pacifying herbs. The heat and the herbs are very effective to lower vata in the rasa and mamsa dhatus. It is usually done directly after Pishinchhali to help the oil penetrate the skin and dhatus.
Nurturing and nourishing, regular Body Treatment is truly an essential part of a one’s self-care and healing. It stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, restoring balance to all bodily systems and functions. In the parasympathetic state, we reduce stress hormones that accumulate in our bodies, assimilate nutrients, eliminate wastes, increase blood circulation and relax and rest in a deep way that promotes regeneration and healing to the mind, body and heart.
Shirodhara
This involves dropping oil slowly over the forehead. It is used to pacify Prana Vayu and is the main treatment for psychosomatic disorders. It is given for 30-45-60 (depends on severity) minutes 3 to 4 times during the 7-15 days time.
A Bliss therapy consisting of abhyanga, shirodhara, and svedana treatments would be beneficial as these treatments are pacifying to vata and very nourishing to the system.
In addition to the Bliss therapy, anuvasana and uttara bastis would help to encourage healthy downward movement and svadhisthana basti would localize energy and release to the 2nd chakra. These treatments would be most helpful if the woman repeated them every month several times until menstruation returned.
Therapies like anuvasana basti, tonifying enema, are employed to heal and calm vata at its root site. These therapies are the tonifying and rasayana portion of the treatment and is the key in building immunity, ojas, as well as strengthen agni, the fire of digestion. The fire of agni is key in the overall health of the individual. If the fire of agni burns to low, ama is left behind; if the fire of agni burns to hot, it smokes and burns and metabolizes the individual. When in balance agni burns clean and clear with no residues left. This is the goal of Pancha Karma.

PANCHAKARMA FOR CHRONIC CONDITIONS

PANCHAKARMA FOR CHRONIC CONDITIONS
Pancha Karma is effective for all eight branches of Ayurveda. It is a versatile and effective therapy for all kinds of problems.
Panchakarma is important in treating a chronic condition. It helps to kindle dhatu agni and improves the quality of both sthayi dhatu and asthayi dhatu. Rakta moksha is the specific form of panchakarma that targets rakta dhatu.
In panchakarma cleansing we stimulate pilu and pithara agni and try to remove excess doshas and ama (toxins). More simply, ama is the by-product of poor digestion and according to the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda – ama is the root cause of nearly all diseases. When ama goes into a cellular energy field, it becomes cellular ama or mental ama. Through the actions of snehana (oil massage), swedana (sudation or sweating), and panchakarma cleansing therapies such as basti, we kindle pilu agni and pithara agni and help to burn the ama stuck in the intercellular energy fields.
The signs and symptoms of ama are …
clogging of channels, sense of heaviness, low energy, restlessness, lethargy, indigestion, kapha-type congestion [i.e. expectoration], accumulation of the three wastes/malas [i.e. feces, urine, sweat], loss of taste, and sexual debility.
– Ashtanga Hrdayam
The five methods for eliminating excess dosha and/or ama from the body for internal purification: vomiting, (vamana), purgation (vire- chana), decoction or oil enema (basti), bloodletting (rakta moksha), and nasal administration (nasya). In the panchakarma process, excessive dosha and/or ama is brought back to its main site in the body and then eliminated through one or more of the five measures.
Panchakarma is mainly concerned with removing the vitiated doshas and malas from the body. Mala is the normal result of Agni metabolism. For every agni in the body there is a mala. When the level of mala increases beyond the body's ability to remove it then it accumulates and impairs dosha movement and function. This aggravated dosha function is the root cause of disease. Additionally, other factors that impair the function of agni create ama (toxins) which mix with either mala or dosha. In both cases accumulation restricts dosha movement in the srotas and thus causes a weakening in dhatus - this causes chronic disease.
Pancha karma is a system to remove (purify) the Srotamsi (channel system).
Shirodhara : It is used to pacify Prana Vayu and is the main treatment for psychosomatic disorders.
Nasya
It is used when there is severe derangements of five senses and Prana Vayu. This can be used when there is any chronic problems related to the ears, mouth, eyes, nose or throat. In Panchakarma Nasya is also called Shirovirechana - shiro (head) + virechana (purgation).
- to remove the doshas from the head
- to maintain and reduce doshas
- to strengthen and nourish the body
Indications of when to use Nasya
Those persons who have the following indications should receive Nasya:
who have a stiff neck or head muscles, who have pain the jaw, throat inflammation, tonsillitis, reproductive disorders, cataract, diseases of the eye or eyelid, discoloration of the facial skin, disorders of the neck or shoulders, diseases of the mouth or teeth, disorders of the ears, disorders of the nose, headache or migraine, facial palsy, hysteria, tetanus, goiter (thyroid), and disorders of the voice or vocal cords.
Prana, life force as nerve energy, enters the body through the breath taken in through the nose. Prana is in the brain and maintains sensory and motor functions. Prana also governs mental activities, memory, concentration and intellectual activities. Deranged prana creates defective functioning of all these activities and produces headaches, convulsions, loss of memory and reduced sensory perception. Thus nasal administration, nasya is indicated for prana disorders, sinus congestion, migraine headaches, convulsions and certain eye and ear problems.
After Nasya Treatment You Will Feel :
Lightness in the body, deep sleep, clearness in the head, the channels are open and clean, the senses are clear and sharp, and happiness.
Basti
That process by which medicated oils and decoctions are administered into the large intestine is called Basti Karma. Basti is the main therapy for Vata dosha in its primary site of the colon and works mainly on the air bhuta. Basti Karma is the most versatile of the Karmas and can have a therapeutic effect on almost all regions and functions of the body.
Indications of when to use Basti
Diseases affecting the whole body (sarvangaroga), localized diseases (ekangaroga), abdominal disorders, retention of semen, flatus, urine or stool, muscle atrophy (mamsaksaya), nervous disorders (vatavyadhi), doshic deficiency (doshaksaya), heart disease, psychosis, hiccups, disorders of udana or apana vayu, fever, venereal diseases, and infertility.
Basti karma is easy to perform and is the safest. Patients should be examined according to vikriti (dosha, sama conditions, etc.), current medication, climate, season, strength, diet, habits, psychology, prakriti and age.

MIRACLE OF PANCHAKARMA

I was reading one book before few years (i don't remember the name ) and cited one note in my diary (also few notes which i like most about Ayurveda)...which i am sharing with you.....This is not mine....look into miracle of PANCHAKARMA..
I was traveling by train from Bombay to Pune. In the compartment there were many people. At a railway station a passenger entered. The moment people saw him, they ran away, saying, “Ghost, ghost, ghost.” This man had extremely debilitated muscles and he looked like a skeleton. That person came and sat near me. The moment i saw him I knew his condition was extreme mamsa kshaya, decreased mamsa.
Even the expressions on his face were difficult to witness. He was full of grief and sadness, his hands were cold and he was extremely hungry. Although he constantly ate, all the food turned into charcoal. I said to him, “Come to our hospital and I will treat you.” We performed panchakarma, the Ayurvedic cleansing program, and gave him some muscle rejuvenating herbs.
About two years later I was teaching in an Ayurvedic clinic. A tall handsome man came up and hugged me. I said, “Who are you?” He said, “Do you remember, two years ago we were traveling from Bombay to Pune? I am that ghost man.” He said, “ i tried every medicine but only Ayurveda worked. Ayurveda has changed my life.” He had been a living picture of extreme decreased mamsa dhatu. After treatment he became mamsa sara, a handsome man. According to Ayurveda, damaged organs can be rejuvenated. The body can regenerate and it is quite possible for such an extreme condition to be healed.
There were more description cited with this chapter, but i just want to cite these point about PANCHAKARMA...

BOOK YOUR ABHYANGA TREATMENT

BOOK YOUR ABHYANGA TREATMENT
(WOMEN ONLY)
Ayurveda teaches that there are seven dhatus, or layers of tissue in the body. Each is successively more concentrated and life-giving.
Benefits of External Oleation. Outlined in: Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita and Ashtanga Hrdayam Benefits of applying oil to the body (Abhyanga): Produces softness, strength and color to the body
Decreases the effects of aging
Bestows good vision
Nourishes the body
Increases longevity
Benefits sleep patterns

Imparts a firmness to the limbs
Imparts tone and vigor to the dhatus (tissues) of the body
Stimulates the internal organs of the body, including circulation
Pacifies Vata and Pitta and Harmonizes Pitta
I have designed this treatment by blending abhyanga with the marma points and lines of energy that map one’s body. Using specific warmed herbal oils according to your dosha, this healing treatment restores and replenishes the body, mind and nervous system.
Pressing a marma point acts on receptors or neurotransmitters and brings relaxation to the muscle, and via the marma/muscle connection one can send a message to the heart, lungs, or pancreas. In this way, muscles are connected to the internal organs.
There are many ways to communicate with a single cell & ABHYANGA is one them.
Call 9773170560/9825463394
When a muscle is rigid, the flow of awareness is blocked. Emotions such as fear, anxiety, grief, sadness, and anger, in the form of neurotransmitters, become stuck in that muscle and create a neuromuscular block. Then, application of oil to the skin goes into the deeper tissues, into mamsa dhatu, and begins releasing repressed emotions. Rubbing oil in the opposite direction of the lay of hair pushes the oil into the hair follicles, the sebaceous glands, the superficial fascia and deep fascia. The subtle quality of oil helps to release those emotions by stimulating certain neurotransmitters in the central nervous system. Because of oil body treatment, those crystals of unresolved emotions become decrystallized and dissolve.
Meditation means bringing harmony between pilu agni and pithara agni. It breaks down the crystals of unresolved emotions. Through the actions of snehana (oil body treatment), svedana (sudation or sweating), and panchakarma cleansing therapies such as basti, we kindle pilu agni and pithara agni and help to burn the ama stuck in the intercellular energy fields.

Choosing a Balanced Lifestyle According To Ayurveda..
Lifestyle has its own rhythm in each person’s life. Waking too early or late, irregular food habits, staying up late, job stress, untimely bowel movements, and suppression of natural urges are a few habits that can unsettle a person. Regularity in sleeping, waking, eating, and elimination brings discipline and helps to maintain the integrity of the doshas and overall good health.
The body’s biological clock is regulated by the doshas. The time of maximum activity of kapha is during early morning and early evening, the pitta period is during midday and midnight, while vata hours are dawn and dusk. This reflects the individual life cycle, where kapha rules the early childhood years, pitta governs from puberty to middle age, and vata is predominant in later years.
Similarly, there are three broad phases of digestion, each governed by a particular dosha. The first phase is kapha, the second is pitta, and the third is a vata phase. Finally each season is ruled by one of the doshas. Health results from acting with awareness to do the right thing at the right time. That way our doshas will be in harmony.
Exercise, too, should be appropriate for one’s own constitution. Kapha individuals can perform the most strenuous exercise, pitta a medium amount and vata a small amount of gentle exercise. Walking, swimming, and yoga are probably the best types of exercise of all for any constitution. Adequate exercise stimulates the gastric fire, improves digestion, relieves constipation, and induces relaxation and sound sleep.
According to ayurveda, health is a state of balance between the body, mind, and consciousness as well as a state of inner balance between vata, pitta, and kapha.
Ayurvedic treatments satisfy every aspect of a person's well being - physical, mental and spiritual. Ayurveda is the Knowledge of Life.

PANCHAKARMA-FIVE ACTIONS THAT CHANGE YOUR LIFE

Panchakarma – Five Actions that Change your Life.
Panchakarma induces an exceptionally deep state of relaxation in which the body is able to release, both physically and emotionally, toxins that have accumulated in the bloodstream and tissues.
Panchakarma is a five-fold therapy; it is highly individualized treatment based on your Ayurvedic constitutional type, doshic imbalances, age, digestive strength, immune status, & many other factors.
Ayurvedic lifestyle and dietary changes won’t produce the major shifts that the body needs. That is where panchakarma is most needed because it purifies the toxins that have been lodged in the body, mind, psyche and spirit.
“The function of Panchakarma is to preserve the equilibrium of the doshas, promote lessening of the doshas, pacify aggravated doshas, and eliminate advanced doshas.”
Doshic imbalance and low agni (digestive fire) can block this natural capacity of the body. The presence of ama (toxins) in the system can be felt as fatigue, or a feeling of heaviness. It may include constipation, indigestion, gas, diarrhea, bad breath, a bad taste in the mouth, stiffness in the body, or mental confusion.
Panchakarma is recommended not only to treat ailments but also to prevent diseases caused by seasonal changes. As the seasons shift, toxins accumulate in your system. This is why Panchakarma is recommended every seasonal shift to keep your Doshas in balance.
Anyone can benefit from a detox because your body is constantly creating toxins. Even if you lived in a perfect world with all organic food, clean air, and no stress, your body still would produce toxins. So it’s important to cleanse regularly.
Panchakarma is internationally known for its ability to cure almost any ailment, from eczema to diabetes to heart disease. It’s one of the most purifying things you can do for yourself and causes you to become so much more aware of the toxins you are holding onto, physically as well as emotionally.
Cleansing and Detoxifying The Seven Bodily Systems of Health..
Each system is based in an endocrine gland, moving from the base of the spine up to the crown of the head, and each one represents a nexus of anatomy, physical function, and biochemistry as well as a group of emotions, thoughts, and life issues. It’s a very sophisticated and elegant way of integrating body, mind, and emotions.
Do you have a thick layer of coating on your tongue? Are you tired throughout the day, especially after meals? Do you have body aches and pains? Do you have uncontrollable cravings? Is your mind foggy? Do you have bad-smelling breath, body odor, or flatulence? Do you have constipation or diarrhea? These are all signs you need to detox. Panchakarma utilizes a set of therapeutic procedures which are given in a specific order to promote the elimination of toxic substances out of the body via the nearest possible route of elimination.

Cleanse the Body, Calm the Mind, & Rejuvenate the Soul
The purpose of Panchakarma is sodhana, purification. According to the Charka Samhita, Ayurveda’s oldest text, if a disease is treated with sodhana, it does not reoccur. Panchakarma is the ultimate way to heal and rebalance the body.
In case you are facing chronic health issues, you are planning to conceive or you would like to prevent diseases, this is for you...
This body is Mother Nature’s most precious gift to you; soon you will return it back to her. In the time being, it is your duty to keep it alive (not just living!), bustling with energy and clear communication, and healthy tissues to support a luminous radiance.
Naturally we don’t want to observe the phenomenon of beauty outside of us, we want to embody beauty ourselves - we want to be beautiful. The Āyurvedic tradition describes three pillars of beauty: rūpaṁ, guṇaṁ, and vayastyag. Rūpaṁ refers to outer beauty of the physical form managed through care of the skin (and hair) on the outside as well as the inside of our bodies (think - the skin of our digestive tracts and deeper tissues!). Guṇaṁ is inner beauty indicated by sincerity of heart, purity of thought, and honesty of action; it is beauty in the state of mind and feeling. When these two are maintained properly, during SARIRAYATRA- the journey or pilgrimage of the body in this physical life - vayastyag, or the everlasting, timeless beauty of consciousness, becomes your primary reality.
Your body has been cleansed and purified, the metabolism becomes optimized, disease is weakened, and normal health is maintained. Sense organs, mind, intellect and complexion are improved; strength, nourishment, healthy off spring and potency are the result. Symptoms of aging do not appear so easily and the person lives long and free from disorders.
You will be feel relaxed and to rest a lot as inner channels (srotas) open to create feelings of freshness and renewal. Physical and emotional toxins lodged deep within the tissues, since many years, are released along with their associated bodily symptoms.

PANCHAKARMA TREATMENT BEFORE PREGNANCY

PANCHAKARMA TREATMENT BEFORE PREGNANCY
Join us to experience how more expectant mothers can prepare a healthier body to help welcome a spiritual soul.
Enriched Optimum State of Fertility
Ayurveda gives great importance to the quality of the seed (ovum). In addition to the female seed, the mother also provides the 'ideal terrain' (i.e. the uterus) into which the seed is to be planted.
This is an opportunity to start new, on a blank slate, so that you can offer your highest self to the passage of pregnancy and to parenthood. Anger, grief, toxins, emotional heaviness, and more all have a profound impact on your pregnancy. In Panchakarma cleansing, there is a specific effort to remove toxins and excess doshas from the field, the nutrients and fluid, and the seed, which are deeper tissue layers and therefore require deeper cleansing.
The cleanse serves to clear toxins (ama) and excess doshas so that channels flow freely and toxins do not inhibit the proper functioning of any tissue.
Traditional Ayurvedic cleansing for fertility lasts for several months in order to cleanse and revitalize the deepest tissue layers.
Similarly, for conception it is important that the woman and her womb be free of illness, the availability of nutrition for development of the foetus be optimum and the seed (sperm and ovum) be healthy and potent.
Ayurveda suggests PANCHAKARMA for all expectant parents, but if only one parent can receive the individualized classical purification protocols, it is better the mother benefits. Today’s mother-to-be may be in her stress/anxiety, have a history of birth control pill use, worked during her menstrual flow or otherwise compromised her hormonal balance. As a result they are more prone to physical & psychological problems.
Panchakarma therapy may act on hormonal level & maintain normalcy of the hormones required for the maintainence as well as production of garb. These would also help in the removing of the accumulated toxins. Diet explained will provide the essential micro & macro nutrients to would be mother &future baby.
The detoxification and purification process must begin with the current conditions, so if a woman has more unresolved doubts, conflicts or attachments, these must first undergo purification, then her mind and body can become more capable of offering a stabilizing influence to a new soul coming to her family.

Creating a new life brings about many changes, both physical and emotional. I am here trying to accompany women in this symphony of creation from the time of conception with a practical Ayurvedic approach on how to embrace pregnancy by consciously honouring and assisting the miraculous journey of giving life to life.
Diet plays a key role for the successful conception. A good diet and lifestyle is to be maintained by both partners for at least three months before planning for a good progeny. Just as a healthy seed bears healthy fruit, the first step in producing healthy sperm and eggs is achieved through a deep internal cleansing to balance the doshas and remove toxins (known as ama) by detoxifying the body......known as Panchakarma.

Ideally begin at least 3 months before attempting to conceive as eggs take 3 months to mature and sperm take almost 3 months to generate. The first step is to detoxify the body (known as ‘Panchakarma’). The reproductive tissues in both men and women are dependant on the health of the other 6 types of body tissues that Ayurveda recognises. The health of all tissues is dependant on having good digestion (or ‘agni’) which controls how well we assimilate food into the body. Hence, the first step in producing healthy sperm and eggs is to ensure digestion is working well. This is achieved through a deep internal cleansing to balance the doshas and remove toxins (known as ‘ama’), ensuring digestion works optimally. Reducing toxicity in the body is especially important.
Another consideration is the relationship between genetic influences and panchakarma. Some deep- seated tendencies may undergo evolutionary change in the spiritual internalization process of self-realization, which can bring a radical light of understanding where unawareness had been.
Panchakarma detoxifies the body, maintain the dosha, dhatu & mala to prevent disease & also promotes resistance to outside pathogens (vyadhi kshamatva) & prepare the uterus for a healthy conception.
